Join us on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 9 a.m. at Deer Park Town Center for a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fun walk to raise awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer. All proceeds benefit The American Cancer Society.
This Making Strides event is a celebration of survivors and an opportunity to remember loved-ones lost. Event is open to all ages, leashed dogs are welcome!
The first 200 people to register in advance with a $10 donation receive:
- Event t-shirt
- Goodie bag filled with coupons and offers from Deer Park Town Center retailers
- Raffle ticket & pink surprises!
Walk-ups and event day registration opens at 8:30 a.m. on-site at the event. Event day registration cost is a $20 donation.
Event Day Schedule:
8:30-9 a.m. – On-site registration and event goodie bag/t-shirt pick up
9:15 a.m. – Group warm-up presented by Equilibrium Personal Training, pin-wheel ceremony honoring survivors and those currently fighting cancer.
9:30 a.m. – Awareness Walk Begins (Low impact, one mile walk around the shopping center).
10:30 a.m. – Survivors Fashion Show featuring the latest in active and casual wear.
9-11 a.m. – On-site DJ, kid’s crafts, activities and face painting.
